Set a fixed IP — save the URL forever

By default, your PC's IP may change when the router restarts. Set a static IP (e.g. 192.168.1.2) in Windows Network Settings, then bookmark http://192.168.1.2:12377 on every device. The address never changes — no more typing, just click and connect.

Do I need to install anything?

No. CastAngel is a single portable executable. Drop it anywhere and double-click. There's no setup wizard, no service registration, and no runtime to install.

Does it work over the internet?

CastAngel is designed for LAN and private networks — that's what keeps it simple and cloud-free. For remote access, run it behind a VPN or an SSH tunnel. We don't ship a relay server.

Which Windows versions are supported?

Windows 7 SP1, 8.1, 10, and 11 — both 32-bit and 64-bit. We ship two builds so you can match the architecture of the target PC.

How is licensing handled?

One-time purchase, hardware-bound. Your license is locked to the machine's SMBIOS and CPU ID — no account, no recurring fees, no online check after activation.

Is my data sent to the cloud?

No. All screen and file traffic stays on your local network. CastAngel never transmits your screen, files, or machine ID to us. Activation is verified locally.

How do I activate after buying?

After purchase you'll receive a license key by email. Open CastAngel, copy your machine ID from the activator, paste your license key, and you're done — permanently, on that machine.

What's the refund policy?

14-day, no-questions-asked refund. If CastAngel doesn't work for you, email us and we'll refund the full purchase.

Can I move my license to a new PC?

Yes — contact support with your old machine ID and we'll issue a new key for the new hardware at no charge.
